In this case the net device may have the IP address set to zero or has an IP address that does not match the net id of the subnet. - discovered (IP) tells the user that the net device has not been discovered but is reachable with an IP connection. In this case the net device is located in an other subnet. The "not found" state in the device list is extended with the time in minutes since the device has been found lastly. This operation may take some time and may be force an error message like "Read select timeout". But this error is not critical. Although getting this error message DHCP is disabled on the ComPoint. Known Problems ============== > Problems with ComPoint firmware versions above 2.73: The first discovery is not able to get the firmware version of the ComPoints because there is no password assigned to get this information.
