AdminStatus | Activate/deactivate DHCPv6-server. In addition to this global switch, DHCPv6-server must be activated per interface via 'ip6AdmIfDhcpMode'. Enumerations: |
Preference | Optional server-preference (see 22.8 of RFC-3315). A value of 0 means that preference is unspecified. Range: 0 to 255 |
ReportOffLink | Activate/deactivate replies telling that some requested addresses or prefixes are 'not on link' (see 18.2 of RFC-3315). This check works properly only if the list of locally configured 'ip6LinkPrefix' entries and 'ip6DhcpPrefixPool' entries is complete, i.e. there are no other DHCPv6-servers offering addresses or prefixes on the same link for some additional link-prefixes or prefix-pools. If this condition is not true, this feature should be deactivated, causing positive replies to still be sent but negative ones suppressed. Enumerations: |
DeclinePeriod | Blocking-time in seconds for addresses that have been rejected by clients via Decline-message (see section 5.3 of RFC-33). |
PseudoPrefLifetime | For calculating T1/T2, sections 22.4 of RFC-3315 and 9 of RFC-3633 recommend '.5 and .8 times the shortest preferred lifetime of the addresses[/prefixes] in the IA[_PD]'. However, deprecated addresses [/prefixes] have preferred lifetime of 0, leading to T1/T2 of 0, having special meaning that choice of T1/T2 'is to be left to the discretion of the requesting router'. Therefore, for deprecated addresses [/prefixes], this field defines a 'pseudo preferred lifetime' that replaces the 0 lifetime in the procedure described above. However, it does NOT affect the REPORTED preferred lifetime for deprecated entries (staying 0). |
