Configuring the licence

You require an additional licence to transmit the IP address in the B/D-channel. You can request these free of charge from www.bintec-elmeg.com (under Services -> Online Services).

Once you have received the licence data, proceed as follows:

Go to System Administration -> Global Settings -> System Licences.

System Management -> Global Settings -> System Licences -> New

Relevant fields in the System Licenses menu

Field	Meaning
Licence Serial Number	This is the serial number of the licence.
Licence Key	This is the licence key.

To enter the new licence, proceed as follows:

Click New to add a licence.
Under Licence Serial Number enter the serial number of your licence.
Enter your licence key under Licence Key.
Confirm with OK.

Check whether the licence has been enabled correctly as follows:

System Management -> Global Settings -> System Licences
