1. Support of New Products

System Software 6.2.8 offers support for the compact line of X2300 routers, i.e. X2300 compact, X2300i compact and X2300is compact.

2. Hardware Change

There has been a change in the hardware of X1000, X1200, BinGo! DSL and X3200: Since the product previously used has been discontinued, the ethernet chip had to be exchanged. This is relevant for products with the following serial numbers:

X1000:      X1A1500...
X1200:      X1B1501...
BinGo! DSL: BGD1502...
X3200:      X3B1503...

NOTE:

Since earlier versions of our system software do not support the new ethernet chip, it is not possible to run any of the routers listed above with a system software version earlier than 6.2.8. This applies to the compact line of X2300 routers, too, since they are equipped with the same ethernet chip.

We have implemented a mechanism into all routers that makes it impossible to install the wrong software version. If you try to do so, an error message is displayed as well as a note which software version you need to use.

1. Unterstützung neuer Produkte

Systemsoftware 6.2.8 unterstützt die Compact-Linie der X2300-Router, d. h. X2300 compact, X2300i compact und X2300is compact.

2. Hardware-Änderung

In der Hardware-Ausstattung von X1000, X1200, BinGo! DSL und X3200 ist es zu einer Änderung gekommen. Da das ursprünglich eingesetzte Bauteil nicht mehr verfügbar ist, wird ein anderer Ethernet Chip verwendet. Diese Änderung betrifft Geräte mit folgenden Seriennummern:

X1000:      X1A1500...
X1200:      X1B1501...
BinGo! DSL: BGD1502...
X3200:      X3B1503...

Hinweis:

Da frühere Versionen unserer Systemsoftware den neuen Ethernet Chip nicht unterstützen, kann keines der aufgelisteten Geräte mit einer früheren Softwareversion als 6.2.8 betrieben werden. Das betrifft ebenfalls die Compact-Linie der X2300-Router, da diese mit dem gleichen Ethernet Phy ausgestattet werden.

Wir haben einen Mechanismus implementiert, der die Installation einer falschen Softwareversion verhindert. Sollten Sie dies versuchen, werden eine Fehlermeldung und ein Hinweis auf die korrekte Softwareversion ausgegeben.
